Lawyer and former minister, José Luís Arnaut currently holds notable roles in promoting tourism and driving the country’s strategic development.
A lawyer since 1991, José Luís Arnaut built a prominent political career, serving several terms in Parliament, where he chaired the Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee, and held ministerial roles as Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Minister for Cities, Local Administration, Housing, and Regional Development.
Since 2018, as Deputy President of the Lisbon Tourism Association, he has played a key role in implementing programs that position Lisbon as a leading tourism destination while strengthening local partnerships. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Tourism Confederation since 2015, an organization that promotes the tourism economy, enhances natural resources, and improves the country's quality of life.
