Leid Zejnilovic is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean for AI and Digital Transformation at Nova School of Business and Economics. He also serves as Academic Co-Director of the Digital, Data, and Design (D³) Institute as well as Academic Director of the Open and User Innovation Knowledge Center. Holding a dual Ph.D. in Technological Change and Entrepreneurship from Carnegie Mellon University and Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, he also holds master’s degrees in Information Technology and in Engineering & Public Policy, alongside an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications. As co-founder of multiple ventures and non-profit organisations, Leid is committed to leveraging technology to empower individuals and drive social innovation.
