Miguel Garcia is a Hospitality business leader with a demonstrated track record of more than 22 years. He has worked in the industry in several countries, such as Portugal, Switzerland and Brazil and has developed and transformed several hotel and restaurant operations - by restructuring teams, leadership, services and processes, in order to maximize results in the areas of revenues, EBITDA, guest as well as team satisfaction.
Since 2021, Miguel has been the Owner & Founder of the São Bento Hospitality Holding Group. They oversee eight restaurant operations and are currently developing four inaugurations, set for 2026 and 2027, as well as 12 restaurant locations by 2028. The group manages 4 brands, such as the iconic Café de São Bento (1982), Snob, Bougain Restaurant & Garden Bar, and Corleone Ristorante Al Mare.
Prior to this, Miguel Garcia was the Operations Regional Director at Minor Hotels Group, where he supervised all urban hotels in Portugal. He managed 10 properties with 1200 rooms and 800 team members, in an operation that cost 100 million euros. These properties belonged to four different brands - Tivoli Hotels, Anantara, Avani and NH Hotels. He managed all operations and their development, over the agreements of Property, Leasing and Hotel Management,
Miguel graduated from Instituto Superior de Turismo e Hotelaria do Estoril (Portugal), and pursued a Post-Graduation at Les Roches Hotel Management School (Switzerland) as well as the University of Cornell (Ithaca, USA).
