She holds a degree in Communication Studies from the University of Minho and began her career  in radio before quickly standing out at TVI, where she has been since 2000. 

In 2017, she moved to Los Angeles as a correspondent for the network, covering major  international events such as the Oscars and the Grammys. During this time, she also worked as a  project developer at a film production company. 

Now back in Portugal, she remains a regular presence on TVI. An active feminist, she is the co founder of Capazes, a platform dedicated to promoting gender equality.
